Terms & conditions of trading

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of services provided by Paramount Tiling, a sole trader specialising in tiling services, to the customer. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Services
We offer professional tiling services, including installation, repair, and maintenance. A detailed quotation for the specific job will be provided before commencing any work. All services will be carried out with due skill, care, and professionalism.

Quotations and Estimates
All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated. Any variations or additional work not included in the original quotation may incur additional charges. Any changes must be agreed upon in writing.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 5% is required before commencing work, with the balance due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. All invoices are payable within 7 days of completion of works from date of invoice issue. Late payments may incur a £45.00 late payment fee. All materials required to complete the job are invoiced upfront and must be paid in full 5 working days before works commence.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled start date. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit paid.

Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to provide clear access to the work area and ensure that the area is free from obstructions. Any delays caused by the customer may result in additional charges.

Materials
All materials required for the job will either be supplied by Paramount Tiling or sourced as agreed upon with the customer. If the customer provides the materials, Paramount Tiling is not responsible for any defects in or the quality of such materials.

Liability
Paramount Tiling shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from delays, unforeseen circumstances, or issues beyond our control. Any damage caused to customer property during work will be addressed in good faith.

Warranty
We offer a six-month workmanship warranty on all services provided. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper maintenance, or damages caused by external factors beyond our control.

Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to negotiate in good faith to resolve the issue. If unresolved, the dispute may be referred to a mediator or relevant third party.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of [Your Country/State], and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
